Great Falls UMC YOUTH NEWS!!
Youth Group News (GRADES 6-12)
WHAT’S BEEN GOING ON…
Lots of Faith, Food, Fun and Fellowship on Sunday nights!!
¨ Faith– We began our second DVD youth ministry series in January. This series is entitled “King David – Trials, Temptations, and Triumphs”. It is broken up into 4 sessions, the first of which was about overcoming our giants. Using the story of David and Goliath as a model, the session encouraged us to identify the giants in our lives and how we can have faith in God to overcome them.
¨ Food, Fun and Fellowship– Thanks to all the families who have provided dinner for youth group, Sunday nights start with a blessing, then sharing, talking, and laughing over a meal. After our program time, we frequently play games as the fun continues!
¨ We had our first Sunday night gathering of the New Year on Jan. 8th, where we celebrated our January Birthdays: Angela Osgood (14) 01/07, Samantha Suib (14) 01/09, Caroline Bryan (14) 01/12, Sophia Broadnax (14) 01/13, Owen Dankworth (14) 01/23, Megan Long (14) 01/26 ~ Happy Birthday to all of you!!
